TRILOGY OF TIME PART II
Wheel is the second chapter of a trilogy dedicated to time.
Everything is a consumer good, everything is destined to run out, everything exists in function of a primary or secondary need, material or spiritual.
In their dissolution, the things we surround ourselves with leave traces of their passage: skeletons, ashes, remains are witnesses to the passage of time.
Wheel is a wheelbarrow whose square wheel is made of chalk. It has an immediate reference to the game most common to all children and whose roots lie in the primary and prehistoric need of man to leave a trace of himself. Dragging the wheelbarrow, the wheel of chalk, consuming itself, impresses on the ground its path through a repetitive gesture destined to end.
